For schools · free in Australia & NZ
Graduation night photos, shared safely.
Parents and students scan one QR code and share their photos from the night. A staff member approves every photo before it appears on the big screen, and the school gets every shot in one album afterwards. There's no app to download and no facial recognition — and it's free for school events in Australia and New Zealand.
How it works
Put a QR code on the program
The same code works on the program, the table cards and a message to families beforehand.
Families share from their phones
They scan and take photos with their normal camera. No app, no password.
Staff approve, the screen fills
Nothing appears until a person you choose approves it. Then it plays on the stage screen.
A person checks every photo
For school events, approval can’t be switched off. It is enforced by the system, not a setting.
No facial recognition
School photos are never scanned for faces. Not now, not later.
Named accounts if you want them
The school can require Google sign-in, so every photo is linked to a real account.
A record of who approved what
Every approval, hide and delete is logged against the person who did it.
An album that can’t be uploaded to
The album link is view and download only, and separate from the upload QR code.
No TV needed
The photo wall runs in a web browser on any laptop connected to a projector or screen.
Questions organisers ask
Is it really free for schools?
Yes — for schools in Australia and New Zealand, school events are currently free. Schools elsewhere, get in touch at [email protected].
Who sees a photo before it goes on the screen?
A staff or committee member you nominate approves each photo on their phone. For school events this cannot be turned off.
Do families need an app or an account?
No app. The school chooses whether guests sign in with Google, so every photo is linked to a named account, or just type a first name.
Do you use facial recognition?
No. Photos from a school event are never scanned for faces. Finding people by face is something other hosts can choose for their own album, and it cannot be switched on for a school.
Can someone upload through the album link?
No. The album is view and download only, and uploading happens through a completely separate QR code.
What if our venue has no TV?
The photo wall runs in Chrome, Edge or Safari on a laptop plugged into any projector or screen.
How are the photos kept secure?
With Google sign-in turned on, only people who signed in at the event can open the album afterwards — a forwarded link is not enough. A TV has to be paired by a staff member, by typing in a number it shows, before it displays any photos. Full-size photos are never on a public address. Everything is explained in plain English at guestcam.app/security.
Can we remove photos afterwards?
Yes. Any photo can be hidden or deleted, and the whole event can be deleted with every photo in it.
