Orange & the Central West
Guest photo sharing, built in Orange for events across the Central West.
GuestCam is made and run in Orange by one person, Toby Te Rupe. Weddings at vineyards and woolsheds, school graduations in function centres, 21sts in the backyard: guests scan a QR code, share photos from their phones, and everything ends up in one album. From Bathurst to Dubbo, Mudgee to Cowra, and anywhere else in Australia.
How it works
Tell me about the event
Use the form below or email [email protected]. You’ll hear back from the person who built it.
Print the QR code
On the tables, the program, the invitations or a lanyard: wherever your guests will see it.
Guests share, you keep it
Photos play on a screen on the night and stay in one album afterwards.
Made in Orange
Designed, built and run locally. No overseas call centre, no chatbot standing in for a person.
Free for school events
Graduations, formals and presentation nights across the region, with staff approving every photo.
Country signal is fine
Out at a vineyard or a woolshed, photos wait on the phone and send when coverage returns.
No TV at the venue?
The photo wall runs in a web browser, so a laptop and the hall’s projector is enough.
No app for anyone
Guests scan with their phone camera. Grandparents included.
Your photos stay yours
No facial recognition unless you switch it on, a private album, and everything deleted a month after the event.
Questions organisers ask
Which towns do you cover?
GuestCam runs on the internet, so it works anywhere with mobile signal: Orange, Bathurst, Dubbo, Mudgee, Parkes, Cowra, Blayney, Molong, Wellington and beyond. It is built and supported from Orange.
Can I talk to someone local?
Yes. Use the form below or email [email protected] and Toby, who built GuestCam, will reply himself.
Is it free for schools in the Central West?
Yes. School events are free, and approval of every photo by a staff member cannot be switched off.
What about venues with poor reception?
Photos queue on each guest’s phone and upload automatically once the signal comes back.
Do guests need an app or an account?
No app. Guests scan the QR code with their phone camera. Schools can choose to require a Google sign-in.
