Book an event

Tell me about your event.

School events in Australia and New Zealand — graduations, formals, presentation nights — are free. Everything else is $50.00 AUD for the event: unlimited guests, unlimited photos, the live wall, and the album afterwards. You are invoiced once, and the event is set up the moment it is paid.

Have a voucher, free trial or referral code? Enter it first — it can change the rest of this form. No code? Try it free first, or carry on below.
This email runs the event. Whoever books it is the organiser — you approve photos, see the album and change the settings. I set it up; I do not run it for you.

Signing in is with Google, so to get in you need that address to be a Google account. If it is not, book with the address you want the invoice sent to anyway and reply to the confirmation with a Google one — I will add it and you are away.
What your printed QR cards will look likeTwo things here go on every QR poster and table card you print, so they are worth getting right now. The card shows them as you type.
You can change both in your console until you print. Changing the link changes the QR code, so settle both before printing, then lock them.
Before you print — read this
  • Check the name is exactly right before printing — spelling, capitals, the &. A card once printed cannot change.
  • Until your event opens, its web address follows the name, so renaming it also changes the link in the QR code. Print once the name is final.
  • If the link does change, the old one still forwards to your event, so links already emailed keep working, but print from the new QR code.
  • Once you have printed, press I've printed the QR codes in your console: the name and link are then locked so nobody changes them by mistake. They also lock by themselves when your event opens.

When can guests send photos? This is the part to get right. It is the window the QR code works in: before it opens and after it closes, a guest who scans the card is told the event is not taking photos. It is fixed once the event is set up — the cards are printed against it, so it is not something you can move on the night.

Open it a few hours before people arrive so early birds and the photographer can start, and close it the morning after rather than at midnight — most of the good photos are sent on the way home or over breakfast.

An event can run for up to 3 days. Most only need an evening and the morning after.

Check the wifi and mobile reception at the venueGuestCam works through your guests' phones, so it needs either venue wifi that guests can use, or good mobile reception where the event is. Please test both at the venue before you pay: open guestcam.app/demo there and send a photo, once on the wifi and once on mobile data. If neither is reliable, GuestCam cannot work 100%.A refund because the venue's wifi or mobile reception was not good enough is not a fault in GuestCam, so it is refunded less the PayPal processing fee ($1.75-$2.25 AUD on $50.00 AUD), not in full.
Your details are used to run your event and nothing else. Change your mind before 10 photos are sent and you are refunded, less the payment processing fee PayPal keeps (typically $1.75–$2.25 on $50). If something goes wrong at my end I put it right in full, whatever the count says. Terms · Privacy
